OnePlus Ivan (OnePlus Nord 2 CE) Price, Specifications Tipped; Likely to Feature Dimensity 900

OnePlus’ North CE 5G was announced in June this year and one would expect its successor to be released around this time next year. However, according to a rather extensive leak from 91mobiles, the device could be coming much sooner than expected.

It is expected to launch in India in January or February and will feature a Dimensity 900 SoC, replacing its predecessor’s Snapdragon 750G. It is expected to sport the same 6.4-inch 90Hz AMOLED panel, while the storage variants will be bumped up to 12GB/256GB, so we can assume that the base version will still have 6GB/128GB.

The camera setup will remain largely the same – a 64MP main camera complemented by an 8MP Ultrawide unit and a 2MP depth sensor. The same 4,500 mAh battery is expected to be on board, but this time it will support 65 W of fast charging, compared to 30 W on the current version.

The source claims that there will be no drastic changes to the looks and the Nord CE 2 will retain the plastic frame and Gorilla Glass panels on the front and back.

The report also mentions the price and believes that it will be priced between INR 24,000 and INR 28,000. That’s around $315 to $370, but taking into account the various import taxes and shipping costs around the world, the stated price range may not apply to all markets.
